Biography
He ran unsuccessfully in the 2011 general election before being elected as a Dublin city councillor in 2014. He ran both times as a member of the People Before Profit Alliance and is a prominent anti-water charges campaigner. He holds master's degrees in history and Irish studies.

Principled representation and a commitment to campaign, organise and agitate for a more socially just, economically fair and caring society.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
The provision of quality public services funded through progressive taxation: water and sanitation, housing, health, education and transport.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
Repeal the Water Services Acts (2013, 2014) thus abolishing water charges and ensuring that our water remains funded through central taxation.
