Why did you decide to run in this election?

As a family man with young children, I can no longer stand by and watch Ireland go down the toilet due to the disastrous woke policies of the current and past governments. Every day, I see the impact of reckless decisions on our communities - whether it’s the housing crisis, rising cost of living, or the erosion of our national identity through reckless open borders. I’ve noticed Fianna Fáil’s posters saying, ‘Moving forward together.’ Well, I say they’ve already brought our country to the edge of a cliff. Moving forward with their policies would mean going over that cliff, with very dangerous outcomes for Irish families and our nation. I want my children to grow up in a safe, prosperous Ireland where Irish families come first. That’s why I’m stepping up: to fight for policies that protect our borders, prioritise housing and jobs for Irish citizens, and restore accountability in government. It’s time for real leadership that puts the people of Ireland first.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The breakdown of our immigration system. Reckless immigration policies are overwhelming our public services, putting strain on housing, healthcare, and law enforcement, and jeopardising the safety and security of our communities. But immigration isn’t the only problem - these issues are compounded by government mismanagement and wasteful spending, from the spiralling costs of the children’s hospital to ineffective solutions like modular homes and bike shelters costing more than the average 4-bedroom house. We need a government that prioritises Irish citizens and tackles these issues head-on.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Restoring the people's right to initiate referendums. This fundamental right was unjustly removed from our Constitution through a statutory instrument, bypassing the will of the people when it should have been put to a referendum. Restoring citizen-initiated referendums is essential to reconnect people with government decisions and ensure their voices are heard. When this right is returned to the people, they will no longer need to protest - sometimes leading to conflict - because they’ll have the power to call a referendum and directly challenge government actions. Reckless open-border policies, bailing out rogue banks, allowing vulture funds to hoard housing, and attacks on freedom of speech are just some of the critical issues that could be overturned by the people. We’ve already seen the power of referendums in protecting our Constitution. It’s time to give this power back to the people, where it belongs, and ensure that no government can act against the national interest without accountability ever again.
