Biography

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I’m the first ever Dáil candidate for People Before Profit in Tipperary North. We want to give people a real left, eco-socialist alternative right across the country. People power and mass movements are the way to bring about real change, like with water charges and Repeal. I want to bring that perspective into the Dáil.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The housing and cost of living crisis. We need to cut rents, abolish the income limits for social housing, use a state construction company to directly build social and affordable homes, nationalise the energy system to provide low cost renewable energy, make public transport free, and end supermarket profiteering.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Announcing Ireland as the first western state to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel.
