Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
My number one priority is combating climate change and restoring nature. I also believe in the values of the Green Party and know that the Greens deliver. I am from Dublin Mid-West and believe that the people here hold these values too, to improve the area and our quality of life. I have the experience, skills and attributes to effect this.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
The housing crisis is the biggest issue due to the increase in population. The prices are now far too high in the private landlord sector, particularly in Dublin. Solutions are more public housing built by the government, housing in the right locations, such as outside Dublin, and the use of vacant housing. Infrastructure must be provided alongside housing.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
I would like it to be about how this wonderful country can be a leader in Europe by meeting our climate targets, through using innovative, progressive and effective measures to combat climate change on a large scale. We have this responsibility to nature and the next generation.
