Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I decided to run in this election due to the deprivation, poverty and exclusion I see daily in people's lives. I also want to run to try and make our society and country a better place for children, especially for children like my daughter and her community who live with a disability.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The greatest issue right now is the housing catastrophe that has been allowed to unfold. The fact young people see no hope of ever owning a home, coupled with the extortionate rents they are forced to pay has created another exodus of young Irish people from our shores looking to build a life and a future abroad.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

My first speaking time I would use to once again highlight the increase in poverty and isolation for our disabled community. During the last government, we have seen people with disabilities and their caring families get poorer and poorer year on year, I would look to speak on this failing and what needs to be done.
