Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

To fight for carers and those with disabilities. My son was born with complex medical needs. I know the struggles we go through as carers and I know how to fight for change having been on Carlow Council since 2019 and having successfully campaigned for a women’s refuge and an injury unit in Carlow.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Housing. We need a State construction company to start building houses. Opening the 100,000 vacant homes is also a good place to start.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

My first-hand experience of the failures in the health system and accessing disability supports. This government has a lot to answer for for how they treat our most vulnerable and I have every intention of holding them to account.
