Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I decided to run because I want to effect change in Sligo-Leitrim. As a Green Party candidate, I’m committed to empowering rural Ireland, supporting sustainable living, delivering affordable homes and creating a thriving, inclusive community for all.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
The greatest issues facing our country are the housing crisis and the climate crisis. Both need urgent attention. We must deliver sustainable housing solutions and climate action that ensures a just transition for communities, farmers, and businesses to secure all our futures.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
My first speech in Dáil Éireann would demand that government parties deliver a fair deal for the North West, which has been long overlooked in terms of investment and infrastructure. It's time to ensure Sligo-Leitrim becomes a thriving, sustainable region where people can live securely, with access to the services they need and a future where no one is left behind.
