Biography

Born and raised in Ballinasloe, Andrew works for Brothers of Charity -- a health and social care organisation -- in Galway East. He was a candidate in June's local elections.

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I ran in the local elections in June and it's clear that an alternative to Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil rule still needs to be put forward to bring about the change we need.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The housing crisis - as it's a foundational problem that underpins so many other issues we're facing right now.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Expansion of workers' rights and strengthen their ability to organise in their workplaces to fight for better pay and conditions.
