Biography
TP O’Reilly has sat on Cavan County Council since 2019. He grew up in Lisgrey, Virginia, where he and his family ran the local post office, pub and shop. He has a background in agriculture and construction, and his priorities are farming and tourism in the area.
Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I feel I have a lot to offer the constituency of Cavan Monaghan. As a Councillor, I have the passion and support to take it to the next level.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Housing. We need to make housing more accessible and affordable.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
Urgent need for assessment and follow up services for children with special needs.
