Biography

Cahill is a founding member of ethno-nationalist party The Irish People. He previously contested twice – for the Dail in 2007, and in the local elections in 2009 in Galway as an independent, but was unsuccessful.

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

The Irish government, media, and establishment have gone rogue, betraying the Irish people. Every cornerstone of our nation is being dismantled, eroding our identity and future. This is not leadership—it’s an assault on Ireland itself.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

The Irish people have been betrayed. In my lifetime, government policies have turned housing from affordable on a single income to impossible even for two, making family formation out of reach. People are being reduced to wage slaves with no way out.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

The Irish people are being betrayed, left hopeless and homeless in their own nation. Critical race theory and queer theory are being forced upon society as indoctrination, not education, deepening division and confusion. These policies are destroying mental health, family formation, and the cohesion of our communities.
