Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

After almost 5 years of proudly representing the people of Longford Westmeath, I want to continue to be a voice in the Dáil for their needs and also their hopes for the future.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Housing. It is having a hugely detrimental impact on so many people's lives and so many aspects of our society - from homelessness and Santa coming shortly to children in homeless accommodation again this year, young adults considering emigrating because they are still in their parents' boxrooms, the ability of businesses to expand or invest in our rural counties and the sense of hopelessness many who need a home express to me.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

My first speech in 2020 was at the start of the pandemic and I spoke of the impact on local businesses and their fight for survival. If re-elected, I would like my first speech to be on delivery of proper services for children with disabilities.
