Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I am committed to representing the people of Longford and building on our progress together. My career, from local government to the Seanad, has focused on delivering real improvements - enhancing infrastructure, supporting local businesses, improving healthcare, and fostering opportunities. There is still much we can achieve for our community.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Ireland’s biggest challenge is housing. Affordable, secure housing is essential for all. We must increase supply, streamline planning, and invest in social and affordable housing. Healthcare access, rural development, and economic stability are also key priorities.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
I would focus on improving rural infrastructure and services, ensuring equal opportunities and development for all communities.
