Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I have loved every day of representing my community as a TD since I was first elected in 2016. To be able to hear people’s concerns and their challenges, and to take action to try and tackle these problems is a privilege. Providing a voice for the people in your community is the best job in the world.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Housing remains a significant challenge including availability of homes to rent, to buy and housing for those experiencing homelessness. Things have ramped up significantly and we need to keep laser focus on the issue as we continue to build capacity and provide more people and families with homes.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Support for small businesses has been my priority as Minister for Enterprise, so if I’m re-elected and the Government is returned, I hope to be confirming further supports, grants and reliefs for our small businesses to assist them with the cost of doing business.
