Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I decided to run in this election as I have been a community representative for nearly 10 years and politicians have failed to put the people before their own interests. I am sick of broken promises and being told how well this country is doing while many of its citizens face a daily struggle to survive and children live in poverty. I am ashamed of our political system and its leaders.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Cost of living, immigration, housing, health, education, services like disability/mental health and child welfare. They are all broken. We need real change to address this.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
If elected to the Dáil, my first speech would be to remind the leaders why and how they were elected. The Dáil exists to provide service to the people of Ireland, and not them. I speak to so many people who struggle to get by in so many areas. Our system needs a reset. Politicians are out of touch and don’t care about ordinary people. To change this, we need to change them.
