Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I’m running because Louth needs a strong local voice in Government. I am passionate about our region reaching its full potential. As a local journalist for 20 years, I know the issues that affect our daily lives, and I’m deeply connected to the community of Ireland’s next city.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Having a secure roof over your head is a basic human right which is still out of reach for many families. When in Government, it will be one of my key aims to ensure there are a large variety of routes for everyone, to make the dream of owning your own home a reality.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

I firmly believe Drogheda needs to be Ireland’s next city, and restoring local government to Drogheda, with a dedicated city manager, will be the first step to our recovery.
