Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

Like many families living in the northwest, my children have sought work and education outside this region. I want their generation to have the chance to build their future here. Emigration is something that always has loomed over many families here and this is something that drove me to want a change for my family, and my community

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Without a doubt, housing is one issue raised with me at every single door I visit. In previous years, housing and rent increases were seen as something that only affected urban areas, but Leitrim has seen the highest year-on-year rent increase in the last number of Daft.ie surveys.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

I would never take getting elected or re-elected for granted, so the first thing I plan to do if I am re-elected is to thank the people of Sligo, Leitrim and south Donegal for supporting me once more.
