Biography
McGrath originally served on South Tipperary County Council from 1999 to 2007. He was Cathaoirleach from 2004-2005. He was elected to Dáil Éireann in 2007 as a member of Fianna Fáil but left the party in 2011 over what he called "disastrous policies".
