Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

I know what a great place Ireland is to live but there are areas where we could improve. We need to be getting the basics right, making sure there are enough public services, ensuring no one is left behind and taking decisive steps to look after and protect our environment and rich, native biodiversity.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

There are many issues facing our country, including a lack of investment in public services, but the greatest issue is climate change and biodiversity loss. We need to put plans in place to adapt to a changing climate, and introduce plans to help mitigate against further climate change and damage to our environment whilst also protecting nature.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

An Ireland where people can access the services that their families need and don’t have to fight for supports for their children, where people who are struggling are given the supports they need when they need them, that looks after our environment and takes our responsibility to safeguard it for future generations seriously.
