Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
For the families of Ireland who are struggling financially, emotionally, socially. As a young father, I want my daughters to grow up in the best possible version of Ireland. I have seen this country in a downward direction for far too long. It can't be an accident. It's down to bad management.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Of the many crises we face – housing, healthcare, crime, immigration, social unrest, cost of living, missed climate targets, brain drain – the one common factor and root cause is the government’s incompetence. Unfortunately, our government have set us back decades on every front.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
That the electorate have shown with their votes a clear mandate for a change of direction in government. That the change we can bring about will restore hope and optimism in the country, that will spur an economic, social, cultural revival. I will pledge myself to that cause and work tirelessly to bring it to fruition.
