Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I’m running to continue my work for the people of Clare in the Oireachtas. I have a proven track record of hard work and I want to deliver again for this constituency. One of my key priorities is to improve the delivery of hospital care in Clare and the Midwest.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
On a national level, I believe one of the greatest challenges we have is addressing climate change. The recent election in the US may yet pose a very serious threat to our economic output and will require careful attention over the coming months. Inflation is making the cost of living a major burden for many families and putting home ownership beyond the reach of too many, so it needs to be addressed.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
First speech, if re-elected, will be on Hospital care in the Midwest and Clare in particular.
