Biography

Former CEO of the Limerick Chamber of Commerce, Dee is a Fianna Fáil candidate for Limerick City at the general election. She was an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor of Limerick in the 2024 mayoral election.

Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?

Limerick needs a strong new voice in Dublin to sort out our two biggest issues – Housing and the Hospital. I have a track record of delivery in my business career. I’m new to politics and I want to bring that energy and experience to tackling these issues on behalf of the people of Limerick.

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Housing and cost of living are the biggest issues facing us nationally and Fianna Fáil have multiple actions laid out in our manifesto to address these. However frustratingly, we have the additional issue of UHL overcrowding concerning many voters in Limerick, and I will be banging on the table in the Dail until this issue is resolved once and for all.

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

Undoubtedly, it’s affordable housing. It’s not good for society if young people with qualifications and good jobs can not aspire to owning their own homes. That needs to change.
