Biography

O'Loughlin has been a Fianna Fáil Senator since 2020, and was previously a TD for Kildare South from 2016 to 2020. A former Kildare County councillor, she is also the party spokesperson on education and deputy leader in the Seanad.

Why did you decide to run in this election?

To ensure a strong and effective voice for my community and county, and because Newbridge needs a TD who lives in the town, cares about it and wants to ensure investment in our town

What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?

Affordable housing, the cost of living and safety

What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?

The implementation of fairer fares for commuters in South Kildare, and to ensure the NTA delivers on government policy to reduce the commuter costs for my constituents.
