Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
As a long-standing Sinn Féin TD I want to see a government led by Sinn Féin address the crisis in housing, health and the cost of living created by years of incompetent FF & FG governments; to bring Irish unity closer, and to ensure that the workers in Ireland are not ignored. Ba mhaith liom chomh maith go mbeadh an Ghaeilge lárnach i gclár rialtas eile agus amach anseo.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
Our greatest crisis currently is the many faceted housing emergency: family homelessness; rough sleeping; overcrowding; young people emigrating; companies not locating here due to no accommodation for workers; nurses, teachers, gardaí turning down postings in Dublin due to unaffordable costs of renting or mortgages; evictions; sky-rocket price of homes and rents; mental health effects of homelessness or housing-related anxiety and more.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
Housing and homelessness.
