Question time
Why did you decide to run in this election?
I believe we need strong voices to stand up for the Northside of Cork city. That's why I put myself forward and that's what I’ve provided since I was first elected by the people.
What do you think is the greatest issue the country faces right now?
I believe this election is our chance to change the government and I want to make sure Cork North Central is a top priority for the next government.
What would you like your first speaking time in the Dáil to be about if you get elected?
The housing crisis is the greatest issue facing this state – unaffordable homes, childhoods spent on Council waiting lists and houses being left to rot. For the last 15 years as an elected representative, I have been fighting tirelessly to end the housing crisis in Cork. I hope my first speech in the 34th Dáil will be in support of MaryLou McDonald as Taoiseach where I will outline how a Sinn Féin led government will put housing as its number one priority.
