Ó Ceannabháin is a local community activist, a Gaeilgeoir and eco-socialist. He is an award-winning folk musician and has used his songs and platform to speak out against injustice and genocide. He is a renter and has been active on housing issues for more than a decade. He is also active with the Affordable Ireland, United Against Racism and the Save the Cobblestone campaigns.
