Biography

Ó Ríordáin was elected to the Dáil in the 2011 general election. He was elected to the Seanad in 2016. He was appointed as Minister of State for Drugs Strategy in 2015. He was also Minister of State for Equality, New Communities and Culture in 2014. He was first elected to Dublin City Council in 2004 and became Deputy Lord Mayor in 2006. He is a former primary school principal.
