Biography
Ó Broin was elected to the Dáil in the 2016 general election. He was co-opted as a councillor in 2013 and kept his seat in the 2014 local elections. He was elected to Belfast City Council from 2001 to 2004 and was the Sinn Féin's director of European affairs from 2004 to 2007.
