Biography

Duffy was first elected as a councilor on South Dublin County Council in 2014 and was re-elected in 2019. He unsuccessfully ran in the 2016 general election. He is a lecturer for the School of Architecture in TU Dublin. He served as Deputy Mayor of the council in 2015 and is the current chair of the council's committee on transport and planning.

Why should someone vote for you?

I am hard-working, persistent and enjoy problem-solving.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

The provision of sustainable public transport infrastructure in the form of bringing the metro to the south-west quadrant of Dublin city.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Seek to establish policies which will create a just transition away from fossil fuels to sustainable energy and table viable solutions to the homeless crisis.
