Harris has been a TD since first elected in the 2011 general election. He is the Minister for Health and a former Minister of State for the OPW, Public Procurement, and International Banking. He previously served on Wicklow County Council and Greystones Town Council. His career in politics began after he set up and Autism support and lobby group in Wicklow.
Throughout my time as a TD and a minister, I have worked hard to deliver for my community and I want to continue to represent Wicklow in Dail Eireann... I respectfully ask for people to continue to support me so I can deliver for our community and make progress on a range of important issues.
I have two! We must address challenges faced by commuters by increasing capacity in our bus and train network. I also want to continue investment in our schools and this will be a major priority for me
If re-elected as Minister for Health, I want to press go on our three new hospitals for Galway, Cork and Dublin. These are central to reducing waiting lists. For the people of Wicklow, I want to have a comprehensive plan in place to ensure we have an appropriate school place for children in the Wicklow area.
