Geraghty-Smith has been a councillor on Meath County Council since the 2019 local elections. Her background is in business and economics and she works in the green energy sector.

This government is failing people. It is time for a change and a vote for me and for FF will guarantee this. I want to take my fight to the Dáil, to represent and deliver for Meath as the county is being left behind.

Securing inward investment and high quality jobs is absolutely key for Meath as the county has experienced a population boom, yet it has been starved of investment under this government.

My first priority would be to progress the Navan Rail Link as a matter of urgency by seeking a feasibility study and getting support and funding for the project. We need sustainable transport solutions that will deliver for people long-term.
