Moynihan has been a TD since 1997. He has been re-elected at every general election since. He has served as the Fianna Fáil Whip since 2016. He has been the party spokesperson on various issues including agriculture and communications. Prior to his career in politics, he was a dairy farmer.

Because of my track record of work for individual people and their communities. I have always done my very best to help every single person that comes to me about any issue and will continue to do so if re-elected on 8 February.

To reverse the attacks on rural Ireland that we have seen in recent years - there needs to be an urgent change in the approach of government across all departments. The policy of forcing everyone into the large urban areas must change.

Seek an urgent focus on tackling the rising cost of living – housing, childcare, health services and insurance costs are placing a huge burden on all households.
