O'Hara is a business woman who runs her own online wedding stationery company in Carrick-on-Shannon. She has a Masters in business. She focuses on rural decline, farming and health.

I'm an Independent who is capable and qualified to do the job well. I find solutions to problems, which is definitely what we need in this country.

My number one priority is services for rural areas in hospitals, education, jobs for young people etc. Rural areas have been decimated by forestry and other issues.

All of the things I have discussed already - I would get started and work with each separate department on the issues that affect rural life.
