Biography

Elected first as a senator in 2007, he was also elected as an MEP before taking a Dáil seat in 2011. The current Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, he formerly worked for Fáilte Ireland as an eBusiness Manager and is a former Minister of State for Public and Commuter Transport.

As a TD and Minister I have worked tirelessly to represent the people of Tipperary and I want to continue that work in the next government.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To facilitate the creation of more sustainable, full time and well paid jobs throughout the county.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Ensure continued economic stability with a strong emphasis on social justice in all government decisions.
