Biography
He was elected first as a Meath county councillor in 2009 before being elected to the Dáil on his first attempt in 2011. He is a former mayor of Trim and serves on the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?
I have a proven track record at securing jobs, new and improved school facilities, as well as funding for better services in Meath.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
In Meath West, we urgently need more provision of social and affordable housing to meet the huge demand on the housing list.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
I would like to secure the implementation of social welfare reform in the form of a new stamp and tax equalisation for the self-employed.
