Biography

She was first elected to Dublin City Council in 1999 and has been a city councillor since. A barrister by profession, she ran unsuccessfully in the 2002 general election. She is a member of a number of Dublin City Council committees, including the North Central Area Committee and the North Central Joint Policing Committee.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I will continue to always have the needs of vulnerable people in our society at the core of all my political and public work.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

The care of people, vulnerable people, particularly those with dementia and their carers.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Establish a national "Dementia Friendly Villages" initiative that would help Irish people to take care of people with dementia and their carers.
