Biography

He was a Cork city councillor from 2004 to 2011 and was Lord Mayor in 2009/10. He was elected to the Dáil in 2011. He is the Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade with special responsibility for European affairs and data protection.

To return this Government to power, to secure the recovery, ensure stability, & make sure that Cork & its people continue to be prioritised.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To ensure that every family in Cork North Central feels the benefit of the recovery in their lives and in their pocket.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

To announce more new jobs in small businesses in Cork and to push for further improvements in local health services.
