A member of An Garda Síochána for over 30 years, he retired in 2013. He is a whistleblower who brought to light details of penalty points terminations within the force.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I don’t believe in right and left politics, I believe in right and wrong politics. I am a slave to no ideology and a conviction driven person.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To restore dignity to the areas where many of our people don’t feel safe in their homes due to the closure of Garda stations and a dysfunctional justice system.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Introduce a Bill to classify crime against the elderly as a special category of crime which will result in harsher penalties for these offenders.
