She is an active and prominent member of the anti-austerity protest movement and has been involved in numerous demonstrations. She is a community activist in her local area and this is her first time running for general election after she ran unsuccessfully in the 2014 local elections. She jailed in February 2015 for breaching an order not interfere with water meter installers and is involved with the Right2Change policy platform.
