Biography

A former business lecturer at Letterkenny IT, this is his first time running for election. He is the son of retired TD Paddy Harte Snr., who served in the Dáil for over 30 years. An active member of a number of organisations, he was chairperson of the Donegal Gathering in 2013 and is a board member of the IFI.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

From outside politics, I have contributed greatly to our county's social and economic development. If elected I will better this.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Sustainable economic growth in order to make Donegal an even better place to live, work and do business. It's not just about jobs, it's about providing a future.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Prioritise and begin to deliver the most valuable, achievable and sustainable development opportunities for the county.
