Biography
Elected on his first attempt as a Clare county councillor in 2014, this is his first time running for general election. Now an Independent, he was previously a Kilrush town councillor and member of Fine Gael. A health, safety and quality manager by profession, he lives and works in west Clare.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?
I have a proven track record in representing the best interests of the Clare people. I want to be a real voice that is independent to make sure we are listen to at national level.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
An equal share of the economic recovery that only some areas of the country are experiencing and drive the creation/retention of real living wage Jobs in Clare.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
Fight for adequate resources for our ambulance service and a package to ensure rural GP services are sustainable. Lobby dept. of finance to support SMEs by reducing VAT rates.
