Biography

Elected first to Tipperary South Council in 1999 for Fianna Fáil, he won a Dáil seat for the party in the 2007 general election. He left the party in 2011 after he lost the party whip and was re-elected as an Independent. He is involved with a number of local and charitable organisations in is area.
