Biography
She was elected first for Fianna Fáil as a Youghal town councillor in 1999 before being elected as a Cork county councillor on her second attempt in 2014. Now an Independent, she left the party after she didn't receive the party nomination for the 2014 local elections. She is a former mayor of Youghal town.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?
I am dedicated, determined and passionate about Cork East. My priority is to enhance my constituency through investment and political change.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
To work with all Government parties regardless of their affiliations for the delivery of services and investment throughout Cork East.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
To establish myself as a TD who is committed to improving the lives of my constituents in towns and villages and rural areas by being their voice at a national level.
