Biography

He ran unsuccessfully in the 2009 local elections as well as the 2011 general election before being elected as a Galway city councillor in 2014. An insurance worker by profession, he is involved with a number of local organisations in his area and campaigns against the water charges and other austerity measures.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I am positive in seeking solutions to our problems, have worked hard at council level and believe I offer a real alternative to the current established parties.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To address the housing crisis we face where an appetite to address this has been lacking in the past. We need investment on the west coast.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

To seek enough support to establish an agency similar to the RSA with the task to address rising mental health issues suicide within our communities.
