Biography

Elected first as Cork county councillor in 2009, he was re-elected in 2014 when he topped the poll. The current Mayor of Cork, this is his first time running in a general election. He is a member of a number of local groups in his area and is the chairperson of Laharn Community Action LTD.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

My intention is to support the people of Cork North-West at a national level and to be their Independent voice in Dáil Éireann.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Fighting the decimation of rural services and promoting the economic development of our towns and villages.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Hit the ground running and start addressing the many issues affecting my constituency.
