Biography
Co-opted first onto Wexford County Council in place of his father in 2003, he was re-elected in 2004 and served until 2007 when he won a Dáil seat. He lost his seat in 2011 but was elected to the Administrative Panel of the Seanad. He is the Fine Gael Seanad spokesperson on finance and has held front bench positions in the past.

Stability, experience, integrity, ability, dedication to public service and finally my determination to deliver for my constituents.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
To deliver jobs to county Wexford.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
To improve laws to protect women & children against domestic violence.
