Biography

The former mayor of Drogheda, he was elected to Louth County Council for Fine Gael in 2014 on his second attempt. Now an Independent, he left the party over the imposition of water charges by the government. He is a barrister and is running as a member of the Independent Alliance.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I have a track record of delivering results in FDI, job creation and tourism. I do not make false promises or follow a whip on issues like Irish Water.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

My constituency is my priority, focusing on the issues above and provision of healthcare and policing are my specific priorities.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Begin the fight to raise and tackle the issues affecting my constituents in their day to day lives.
