Biography

Elected to the Dáil first in 1982, he has been a sitting TD since. The Fianna Fáil spokesperson on social protection and social equality, he is a former Minister of Defence and has held a number of junior ministries throughout his political career.

Because I work very hard for my constituents, individually & collectively.

Ease the housing crisis which has left so many homeless & living in unsuitable accommodation.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Begin the process of reversing the impact of the government's five regressive budgets.
