Biography

Elected to the Dáil first in 1987, he was a TD until he lost his seat in 2002. He was elected again in 2007 and is now Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade. He is also a former Minister for Children and Youth Affairs and has held numerous front bench positions with Fine Gael throughout his political career.

My experience over a number of years and opportunity of serving at the highest level is an important asset.

Jobs.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I'd be honoured and privileged to be asked to serve in government again.
