Biography

She was elected as a Kerry county councillor in 2014 on her first attempt. A teacher by profession, she is a community activist in her area and is involved with a number of local organisations, including the Waterville Rowing Club and the Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

They will be getting a TD who is entirely committed to sustainable community development and the re-invigoration of rural Ireland.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

To stem the decline in population in small towns, villages and countryside and to ensure a balanced development between urban and rural areas.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

The establishment of a pilot project for upland farming areas of Iveragh with co-operation between Dept of Agriculture and European partner agencies.
