Biography

This is his first time running for general election after he ran unsuccessfully in the 2014 local elections. A primary school teacher by profession, he is running on a platform of protecting the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution. He is involved with a number of community groups and charitable organisations in his area.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

People know where they stand with me. My word is my bond. I am not afraid to voice my opinions on contentious topics and take action.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

I am standing on a pro-life platform and will do everything in my power to ensure we keep the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

To set up a Suicide Prevention Authority similar in structure to the Road Safety Authority (RSA) to help eliminate this scourge in society.
